Title:PAYMENT PROCESSING SUPERVISOR

Skills:This position requires: three years Payment Processing experience; prior supervisory experience; 10-key by touch (15 columns); 40 wpm typing; intermediate computer skills including Word; intermediate to Advanced Math skills; advanced analytical skills; advanced oral and written communication skills; and some college coursework completed. An accounting concentration is preferred.
Function:The Payment Processing Supervisor will train and assist payment processing and drafting employees and to solve problems within the area of payment processing.

This encompasses: assisting payment processors and drafting clerk with day to day problems and questions; researching and completing all payment misapplication reversals, as well as reversals for loan sales and interest rate corrections; monitoring and working out items from the Suspense account; assisting in resolving any out of balance conditions which occur in Deposit Clearing account; serving as the point of contact within the department for research from other departments concerning possible payment misapplications; serving as backup to drafting clerk, payment processors, daily balancing, NSF reversals during vacations, etc; completing quarterly FDCIA testing within Payment Processing and Drafting areas; reviewing and maintaining employee timekeeping for Payment Processing Staff; providing supervision and guidance for department personnel, including discipline; preparing monthly department report for Manager of Investor Accounting; assisting Manager with projects as needed; and training department personnel.
