Senior Sales Consultant - MIdwest Region
Midwest Region: IL, MN, WI, IN, KY, OH, MI
Minimum of 5 years of mortgage banking experience including sales and business development
At least 3 years sales management experience in the credit union mortgage industry and or the mortgage industry
60% of travel could be required based on region
A home work environment required
Knowledge of PC environments to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and ability to learn CU Members Mortgage software for contact management and sales reports
The Senior Sales Consultant is responsible for the acquisition and management of new credit union accounts within a territory. Re-activate and sell to Inactive Accounts. Develop and maintain a territory consistent with company standards. Direct all daily activity with integrity and honesty, exemplifying CU Members Mortgage tradition of superior customer service.

Acquire new credit union clients, and re-activate previous clients
Develop a sales strategy for territory with production goals
Analyze credit union account activities for maximum volume and profitability
Prepare complete package to CUMCS management for contact approval
Read, review and understand Credit Union Industry changes and maintain personal involvement, when necessary
Maintain positive relationships with key personnel at each credit union
Attend vendor and league chapter meetings, golf tournaments, trade shows and other sponsored events
Participate in the communication with individual Account Executives, Loan Officers, Sales Support, Branch staff and Credit Union Personnel when necessary to maximize relationship with clients
Assist in maintaining accurate Profiler data for each credit union
Coach and assist credit union lending staff to ensure a complete and positive implementation or re-activation of a client account
Coordinate marketing plans between CUMCS, credit union and Account Executives
Review and analyze existing relationships with credit unions, make recommendations and assist in the implementation of new Participation Level when there is a merger, credit union staff change, credit union strategy change or product change
Ensure that the sales cycle includes superior customer service standards, and that corporate goals and division passion, vision, and values are achieved

Strategic Focus
Work with VP of Sales and Account Executives for Correspondent and Direct Lending to maximizing volume with existing accounts
Work closely with VP of Sales, VP of Direct Lending and VP of Correspondent Lending to prepare operations for all activating accounts
